Neutering (Desexing)

There are many reasons why you should have your pet desexed (or neutered):

  • If you have a female dog and she is spayed you are protecting her from breast cancer, uterine infection and unwanted puppies.
  • By having your male dog castrated you will be protecting him from prostate diseases, testicular cancers and undesirable sexual behaviours.
  • When your female cat is spayed you will not have to worry about her "calling" all the male cats in the neighbourhood or having an unwanted litter of kittens.
  • Having your male cat castrated will dramatically reduce his desire to roam, fight and spray urine.
