The main hub of the Animal Medical Centre, the dog clinic is where you will find most of our vets and nurses each day.
From checking over puppies having their first vaccination to caring for old dogs with complex health problems, the dog clinic welcomes clients new and old every day of the year. You can be assured that our vets and nurses will look after your pets as if they are our own.
Our dog clinic is arguably the best equipped veterinary practice in the Northern Tasmania. Digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, in house blood testing machines, video endoscopy, digital eye pressure equipment are only some of the equipment we use to help us make a diagnosis and treat your dog. We are even able to access off-site CT imaging to help us with some of our more difficult cases.
Each of our vets has their own particular interests, which range from dermatology to ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery to behavioural medicine, advanced imaging to soft tissue surgery. One of the great advantages in coming to our dog clinic is that our team of vets work together bringing their experience and skills to help your dog get better as soon as possible. But our vets couldn’t do half as well in their job without the support of our fabulous nursing team. The wonderful care of our nurses helps our patients get back on their feet as fast as they can.
